UK from June 10-13. During this visit,
he will be awarded the prestigious 'King Charles Harmony Award'.

Ruhul Alam Siddiqui gave this information at a briefing at the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday. He said, "This is a very important visit. The Chief Advisor will leave Dhaka for London on June 9 and return to the country on June 14."
During this visit, Professor Yunus will meet with British King Charles III. He will also have a bilateral meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. There are also various other programs.
When asked whether the chief advisor will meet with BNP acting chairman Tariq Rahman in London, Ruhul Alam Siddiqui said, "According to the program mentioned by the chief advisor, there is no information on this matter."
The relationship between
Bangladesh and the UK is politically important and there is a deep commercial relationship between the two countries. The UK is Bangladesh's second largest trading partner and home to the country's largest expatriate population.
The chief advisor will also take initiatives to recover money laundered in the UK. Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H. Mansur recently said that the chief advisor will try to bring back laundered money and assets during his visit to the UK.
During the visit,
King Charles III will award Professor Yunus with the prestigious 'Harmony Award 2025', which will demonstrate the UK's deep commitment to further developing relations and cooperation with Bangladesh.
