This information was provided in a warning for the country's inland river ports on Wednesday evening.

The warning states that temporary gusty/snowy winds with speed reaching 45-60 kmph from the southeast/east direction are likely to occur over Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet regions. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1 (re) number 1.

till 6 pm on Thursday (June 5) has said that there may be temporary gusty winds accompanied by lightning/light to moderate rain/thunderstorm at many places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at some places in Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions. Along with this, there may be moderate to heavy rain at some places across the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
