The weather will be dry and comfortable in most parts of the country on that day. However, as the monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate in the north Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of rain in some places in Chittagong, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.

This information was given in the forecast released by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Thursday (June 7).

In the forecast released,

meteorologist Dr. Md. Omar Faruk said that temporary gusty winds, lightning, light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur at one or two places in Chittagong, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 9 am on Eid. However, the sky will be partly cloudy in other parts of the country, but the weather will remain mainly dry.

The forecast also states that day and night temperatures may increase slightly across the country on Eid. As a result, although the atmosphere may be somewhat comfortable in the early morning, it may feel hot as the day progresses.

Meanwhile, on Sunday (June 8)

, the day after Eid, temporary gusty lightning/light to moderate rain/thunderstorm is likely to occur at one or two places in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 9 am. In addition, the weather is likely to remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies elsewhere in the country. Day and night temperatures are likely to remain almost unchanged across the country.

On the other hand, on the third day

of Eid, Monday (June 9) from 9 am, temporary gusty lightning/light to moderate rain/thunderstorm is likely to occur at one or two places in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours. In addition, the weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies elsewhere in the country. The Meteorological Department also said that day and night temperatures may also increase slightly across the country.
