Eid preparations are underway
in every household. Many have already bought sacrificial animals. Many are roaming the markets in search of animals.
Many of us perform a shared sacrifice. In that case, many are interested in knowing whether the number of partners can be increased or decreased after purchasing the cow or buffalo. What does Islam say in this regard?
Rule: If someone buys a cow,
buffalo or camel with the intention of sacrificing it alone and he is rich, then it is permissible for him to share the animal with someone else. However, it is better for him to sacrifice it alone without sharing anyone else. If he shares, it is better to give the money as charity. And if that person is poor, for whom sacrifice is not obligatory, then since by purchasing the animal with the intention of sacrificing it, the person has determined its entire value for Allah, it is not permissible for him to share the animal with someone else. If he shares, then it is necessary to give the money as charity. And if he wants to share the animal with someone else, he must make the intention at the time of purchasing the animal.
