AKAM Masud, the district magistrate
of Dhaka Central Jail (Keraniganj), gave this information on Thursday (June 5).
He said, the prisoners in Keraniganj will get Payes Muri for breakfast at the beginning of Eid. At noon, roast chicken, beef and khasi (for those who do not eat beef). There will be soft drinks, salad, betel nut and dessert. At night, rice, fish and potato stew.
Not only in Keraniganj,
but in all prisons across the country, prisoners will be reveling in the joy of Eid and eating special Eid food.
Dhaka Division Deputy Inspector General of Prisons (DIG Prisons) Md. Jahangir Kabir said that special three-day arrangements have been made for prisoners during Eid-ul-Azha.
