Eid holidays in offices, the crowds
of buyers have increased in the markets. Shopping is also going on non-stop.Cow Hate
This scene was seen roaming around the capital's markets since early morning on Thursday (June 5).
Many people spend the night in the market to buy their favorite sacrificial animal and return home with their cows in the morning. Many others have come to the market in the early morning. They look around the market. If they like something, they bargain. When the price is not enough, they buy the animal of their choice.
In addition to various breeds
of cattle, the market also sells khasi, buffalo, goats and sheep. Camels and donkeys are also seen here and there. However, like every year, the demand for medium and small cattle is high. And the sellers are worried because the demand for large cattle is low.
Traders and farmers say that there is a high demand for medium and small-sized cattle at the market. However, when large cattle are sold at bargain prices, fewer are being sold. As a result, most of these cattle will have to be returned.
However, buyers say that the
price of animals is still a bit high. A buyer named Ashraf said that the price of large cows is very high. The price of small and medium-sized ones is also a bit high.
Meanwhile, cattle from different districts of the country are still arriving at the market. Traders hope that cattle sales will increase further in the last two days.
