Who won how much prize money in IPL?

After a long wait, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) finally got the taste

Indian Premier League (IPL) title.

Ending much disappointment and criticism, Bangalore created history at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (June 3). They won the title for the first time by defeating Punjab Kings by 6 runs in a thrilling final.

 

How much prize money will the IPL champion team get? Cricket fans are interested in this every year. The total prize money for IPL 2025 was a little over Rs 47 crore. This money has been distributed among the top four teams and various individual prizes. As the champion team, Royal Challengers Bangalore received Rs 20 crore. Runner-up Punjab Kings pocketed Rs 13 crore. Mumbai Indians, who lost in the second qualifier, got Rs 7 crore, and Gujarat Titans, who were eliminated in the Eliminator, got Rs 6.5 crore.


List of individual and other award

winners of IPL 2025: Several attractive awards have been given based on individual performance in this year's IPL. Gujarat Titans' Sai Sudarshan won the Orange Cap as the highest run-scorer of the tournament (759 runs), for which he received Rs 10 lakh. Prasidh Krishna of the same team won the Purple Cap (Rs 10 lakh) with 25 wickets. Mumbai Indians' Suryakumar Yadav won the Most Valuable Player award, whose prize money is Rs 15 lakh.


Sai Sudarshan won two important individual awards –

Emerging Player of the Tournament (Rs 10 lakh) and Fantasy Player of the Season (Rs 10 lakh), while he also bagged the Fantasy King Player award (Rs 10 lakh). Rajasthan Royals' Vaibhav Suryavanshi received Rs 10 lakh as Super Striker of the Season.
