Meanwhile, regarding Shakib Al Hasan's return to the team, BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul said, "Shakib is one of the best all-rounders in Bangladesh. We hope that Shakib stays fit and plays good cricket."
He further said, "
This has nothing to do with the advisor's decision. Advisors are not selectors. The selectors of our cricket board will look into this matter. We have a process for selecting players and we will respect that."
