BNP has issued a written warning to

BNP Vice Chairmen Barkat Ullah Bulu and Shamsuzzaman Dudu. The party issued the warning after their recent statements sparked controversy, a BNP source said.

The two vice chairmen of the party were warned in a letter sent from the party's office on Thursday. The letter has been delivered to them.

BNP sources also said that BNP

is embarrassed by some of the recent statements made by these two leaders. The letter warns them not to make any statements at meetings and seminars that are outside the party's position and viewpoint.

referring to National Citizens Party (NCP) leader Hasnat Abdullah, Shamsuzzaman Dudu said at an event that if BNP leaders urinate together, they will float away into the Bay of Bengal in this stream of urine.
