Tarique Rahman advises to deal with political

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has advised everyone to

deal with the political situation with

caution before and after the upcoming 13th national parliamentary elections.

He made the suggestion during a meeting with leaders of the anti-fascist simultaneous movement, joining virtually from London on Friday (August 8).

The meeting, held at the political office of the BNP Chairperson in Gulshan, was attended by 12-party alliance chief coordinator Mustafa Zaman Haider, like-minded alliance chief coordinator Dr. Fariduzzaman Farhad, LDP Secretary General Dr. Redwan Ahmed, Bangladesh Labor Party Chairman Mostafizur Rahman Iran, and BLDP Chairman Shahadat Hossain Selim, among other leaders.

On behalf of BNP, Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, Begum Selima Rahman and Vice Chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo also participated in the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting,

Tarique Rahman said, 'Through the upcoming elections, we will be able to build Bangladesh as a democratic welfare state with the people's verdict.

Through your unity, fascism was overthrown in July through the mass uprising of students, workers and the public after a long movement and struggle.

According to sources from the leaders who attended the meeting, Tarique Rahman said that the upcoming elections should be seen as a big challenge. He advised everyone to be vigilant against any kind of conspiracy before the elections.

He also urged the parties to work to deliver the BNP's 31-point program for state reforms to the people.
