Jumbangla Desk: The Amir of Islamic Movement Bangladesh, Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim (Charmonai Pir) said that the role of Islamic Movement Bangladesh and its organizations was unique in the anti-dictatorship movement. Besides, 73 scholars were martyred and hundreds were injured in this movement.

He said these things at the representative of Islami Jubo Andolan Bangladesh 'Conference 2024' at the Diploma Engineers Institution auditorium in the capital on Saturday afternoon (September 28). It was presided over by Maulana Muhammad Neshar Uddin, the central president of Islamic Youth Movement Bangladesh and moderated by Secretary General Mufti Mansoor Ahmad Sakir.

He said that the previous Awami government implemented anti-national and anti-religious agenda in various sectors including education policy, not of this country but as a foreign proxy government. But the sad reality is that even the interim government that we put in power after the fall of fascism across the ocean of blood seems to lack sincerity in prioritizing Islam and the beliefs and ideals of Muslims in education policy.

Charmonai Pir also said that the political field of the country is fertile enough for the Islamic movement in Bangladesh. The people of this country are satisfied by observing the activities of Islamic Movement Bangladesh, they want to hand over power to Islamic Movement Bangladesh in the future.

Regarding unity, Pir Saheb Charmonai said, since birth, the Islamic Movement of Bangladesh is a united party. Our late Amir Sheikh Syed Fazlul Karim. Adhir was interested in unity. He went to the leaders of various organizations and spread the message of unity and harmony. We are also giving the message of unity along that path.

At this time, he also said, "If anyone has been hurt by the words of any of our leaders or has received an anti-unity message, we apologize for that." We want to empower Islam with everyone, inshallah.
