ডায়েরির পাতা থেকে: তরুণী আনিসা তার দাদির পুরনো বিয়ের ট্রাঙ্ক থেকে একটি অসাধারণ সুন্দর নকশিকাঁথা খুঁজে পায়। কাঁথাটির কাজ প্রায় শেষ, শুধু একটি কোণায় একটি মানব প্রতিকৃতির মুখের অংশটুকু সেলাই করা বাকি। কাঁথাটি এত সুন্দর যে সে ঠিক করে, বাকি সেলাইটুকু সে নিজেই শেষ করে এটিকে সম্পূর্ণ করবে। কিন্তু যখনই সে সুই-সুতা নিয়ে কাঁথায় ফোঁড় তুলতে যায়, তার আঙুলে সুইটি অদ্ভুতভাবে ফুটে গিয়ে রক্ত বেরিয়ে আসে। এমন ঘটনা কয়েকবার ঘটার পর সে লক্ষ্য করে, কাঁথার নকশাটি আসলে একটি পরিবারের কাহিনী বলছে—জন্ম, বিয়ে, উৎসব। আর যে অংশটি অসমাপ্ত, সেখানে একটি নারীর ছবি, যার মুখ বিষণ্ণ এবং চোখ অশ্রুসিক্ত। দাদির পুরনো ডায়েরি থেকে সে জানতে পারে, এই কাঁথাটি তার এক দূর সম্পর্কের আত্মীয়া বানাচ্ছিলেন, কিন্তু তার жестокий স্বামী তাকে হত্যা করে। মৃত্যুর আগে তিনি কাঁথাটিতে নিজের রক্ত দিয়ে অভিশাপ দিয়েছিলেন। যে এই কাঁথার শেষ সেলাই শেষ করার চেষ্টা করবে, তার জীবনও অসমাপ্ত থেকে যাবে। সেই রাতে আনিসা দেখে, কাঁথার ওপর নতুন রক্তের দাগ দিয়ে লেখা হচ্ছে, "আমার গল্প শেষ করতে এসো না, তোমারটাও অসমাপ্ত থেকে যাবে।"
