On Thursday morning Bangladesh time, Messi won this match by 3-2. Inter Miami beat Columbus Crew to win this year's Supporters' Shield. Messi was the hero of Miami's victory with two goals late in the first half. Luis Suarez, another Miami star, scored the team's other goal. Goalkeeper Bharsa Kalender once again made a big contribution to the team's victory.

In the 45th minute, Jordi Alba made a huge long high ball from his own half near midfield. There, Messi tapped the ball past the goalkeeper and into the net.

In the fifth minute of added time of the first half, Miami received a free kick just outside the Columbus box. Messi sent the ball into the net with a perfectly curved shot past the human wall in front. The goalkeeper had little to do but watch.

At the beginning of the second half, Columbus repaid a goal. However, they fell behind by two goals after a couple of minutes due to the goalkeeper's mistake. Suarez scored with a header.

In the 61st minute, Columbus reduced the gap again by scoring from the penalty spot. However, in the 63rd minute, defender Rudy Camacho got a red card and left the field. Despite that, they got a chance to return. They got a penalty in the 84th minute. But Miami goalkeeper Calender jumped to the right and turned the shot away.
