Jumbangla Desk: The Meteorological Department has said that there may be rain with thunder with gusty winds of maximum speed of 60 km per hour over 6 regions of the country.

This information was given in the weather forecast for the river ports of the country till 1 pm on Friday (October 18).
It said that thundershowers with a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour may occur temporarily over Pabna, Bogra, Dhaka, Tangail, Mymensingh and Sylhet regions from west or south-west direction. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
In another message, it is said that rain with thunder may occur in some places of Dhaka, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and two or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Barisal and Chittagong divisions on Friday. Day and night temperatures may drop slightly across the country during this time.
