Jumbangla Desk: Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Home Affairs Adviser of the Interim Government has announced to reward Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader.

He said that the government has no information about the fugitive Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader. He announced a reward if the investigative journalists could find him.

He said this in response to a question from journalists after visiting Rajshahi BGB headquarters on Saturday (October 19) afternoon.

He also said that since an arrest warrant has been issued against former Prime Minister Sheikha Hasina, action will be taken as per the existing agreement to bring her back from India.

Lieutenant General (retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, 'Fascist Awami League government has made many appointments for the last 15 years. Some of them got jobs on merit and some on party considerations. Necessary action will be taken in the case of those who got the job on party consideration.

He said that 187 officers did not join the police force after the mass uprising of the students on August 5. Now they are not police but terrorists. They will be arrested and brought to justice.

At that time, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Director General Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, BGB Additional Director General (GS Branch) Brigadier General Sohrab Hossain Bhuiyan and other top officials of BGB were with him.
