Jumbangla Desk: Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Advisor to the Ministry of Labor and Employment has claimed that a group is busy sucking the blood of common people.

This was claimed in a status on Asif's verified Facebook page on Saturday (October 26).

He writes, one group of people is busy to bring relief to the public mind, another group is busy sucking the blood of common people. The government will crack down on those who are making the people suffer by making syndicates.

He also wrote, today advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan observed the commodity prices and market conditions on the ground including taking the opinions of consumers.

It is to be noted that labor and employment and youth and sports adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan visited Anand Bazar in Chankharpool of the capital to monitor the prices of goods in the market.

On Saturday (October 26) around 2 pm, he posted on his Facebook account about the market visit.

Asif Mahmud wrote in the post, "Egg prices have come down from Tk 60 to Tk 48, gourd from Tk 100 to Tk 40-50 and green chillies have come down from Tk 300 to Tk 140-150 per kg."

Noting that the price of vegetables is fairly under control, the advisor also wrote, 'Although there are some differences in prices across places and markets. When winter vegetables start coming to the market, it will decrease further.'

Asif Mahmud also said that the government is also working to control the prices of other daily necessities.
