Jumbangla Desk: A young man named Amir Hossain (45) has been arrested by the police on the charge of raping a seven-year-old child in Savar's Ashulia. He was arrested by the Ashulia police station on Sunday night (November 3) from the Pallividyu area of Ashulia.
The arrested Amir Hossain is the son of deceased Abdul Matin Sheikh of Bahria village of Sadar police station of Chandpur district. He is the tenant of Aminul Islam's house in Palli Bidyut Paka Matha area of Ashulia.
According to the police, on the night of October 29, Amir Hossain forcibly raped the seven-year-old child by threatening to kill her in Ashulia rural power area. After learning about the incident, the victim's family filed a case under the Prevention of Women and Child Abuse Act at the Ashulia police station, and the police arrested her on Sunday night.
SI Masood Al Mamun of Ashulia police station said that Amir Hossain, the young man who raped a seven-year-old child by fear, was arrested and sent to court on Monday morning (November 4) in a rape case filed by the victim's family.
