Two separate friendly football matches of women's and men's teams were held at Palashbari in Gaibandhar to help those injured during the anti-discrimination student movement. The match was organized by Palashbari upazila branch of anti-discrimination student movement at Palashbari SM Government High School ground on Wednesday afternoon.

Palashbari Football Coaching Academy cooperated as a sponsor of this friendly match. Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Al Yasa Rahman Tapadar, Palashbari Police Station OC Zulfikar Ali Bhuttu, Palashbari Football Coaching Academy Suruj Haque Liton, Palashbari Upazila Press Club President Shah Alam and others were present as chief guests in the opening ceremony.

Palashbari women's team and Panchbibi women's team participated in the game; On the other hand, Palashbari Coaching Academy and Syedpur team are the men's team. Palashbari women's team defeated PanchBB women's team 2-0.

Thousands of spectators from different areas were present to watch the preeti football tournament in the anti-discrimination student movement.
