President of the People's Rights Council and former VP Nurul Haque Noor visited the grave of Shaheed Abu Saeed, a student of Begum Rokeya University in the anti-discrimination movement.

He brought hundreds of party leaders and workers to Babanpur village of Pirganj upazila on Friday and consoled the family after visiting the grave.

Abu Saeed's father Maqbul Hossain and hundreds of people from the area were present at that time. VP Noor sat in the yard of Abu Saeed's house after the grave visit and condoled with his father, mother, brothers and sisters.

General Secretary of Public Rights Council Rashed Khan and Central Student Rights Council President Bini Amin Mollah spoke in a brief discussion.

They praised the bravery of martyr Abu Saeed and addressed his parents saying, Abu Saeed is not there, we are your children. Fascist graves are dotted all over the country. We got a new Bangladesh through the sacrifice of Abu Saeed. We pray for his soul to rest in peace.

Every Friday and Saturday, people from all over the country come to Abu Saeed's house to visit the grave and comfort his family.
