Jumbangla Desk: One cut of Padma river was sold for 16 thousand 900 taka in Daulatdia fish market of Rajbari district. On Friday morning, a fish trader named Chandu bought this cuttlefish weighing 12 and a half kg from Rezaul mandal of Daulatdia fish market.

Fish trader Chandu Molla said, in the morning we buy a cut fish weighing 12.5 kg. Katal fish is brought by Ershad Haldar to the rezaul of Daulatdia Bazar. I buy with the highest price. I sell it online in Dhaka at the rate of Tk 1300 per kg, keeping a profit of Tk 50 per kg.

Chandu Molla also said that all the fish in this market are from the Padma-Yamuna river. No pond or farmed fish are sold here. So all types of fish in this market are expensive. Demand is high.
