No one can be appointed as an advisor

to the Governor of Bangladesh Bank for the time being. However, if there is an urgent need, an expert can be appointed in the advisory position. This step has been taken to restore discipline in the overall activities of the central bank.

The process of appointing an expert in the advisory rank to provide necessary advice to the governor on preventing money laundering and recovering laundered money was underway. there are two advisors to the governor of the central bank. They are Asan Ullah and Sabet bin Siddique. Both advisors are above the rank of executive director of the central bank. Among them, Ahsan Ullah was previously the executive director of Bangladesh Bank. Sabet bin Siddique was not an employee of Bangladesh Bank. He was appointed from outside.
