the IPL title. Virat Kohli cried with
emotion after winning the IPL after a long wait. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star cried on the field.
Virat threw his head down and threw his head on the field, letting out all his emotions. Bursting with excitement, he jumped into Phil Salt's lap. He hugged the rest of his teammates. He hugged RCB legends like AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle. And amidst that explosion of emotion, Virat Kohli said, "I never thought that this day would come, that I would be able to win the IPL."
After winning the title by defeating
Punjab in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, the RCB star said, "This victory is as much for the team as it is for the fans. It has been 18 years. I have given this team my youth, my best time and my experience. I have tried to win every season. I have given this team every ounce of my energy. And finally, this day has come, it feels incredible. I never thought this day would come."
Virat Kohli expressed his love for Bengaluru.
He said, "Honestly, this will be one of the best wins of our career. I have given my all in the last 18 years. Whatever happens, I have remained loyal to this team. There have been moments where I have thought otherwise. But I have remained loyal to this team. I have stood with RCB. They have stood with me."
Virat also said,
"I have always wanted to win the IPL with RCB. Winning with RCB is very special for me than winning for anyone else. Because my heart is with Bangalore. My soul is tied to Bangalore. And as I said, as long as I play IPL, I will play for this team."
