হিজরতের দ্বিতীয় বছরে সংঘটিত বদরের যুদ্ধ ছিল ইসলামের প্রথম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ যুদ্ধ। এতে মুসলিম বাহিনীর সংখ্যা ছিল মাত্র ৩১৩, বিপরীতে মক্কার কাফির বাহিনীর সংখ্যা ছিল প্রায় এক হাজার। এই যুদ্ধে মুসলিমদের বিজয় প্রমাণ করে যে, সংখ্যাই সব নয়—আন্তরিকতা, ঈমান ও নেতৃত্বই বড় শক্তি।

ওহুদ ও খন্দক: শিক্ষা ও প্রস্তুতির প্রতিচ্ছবি

ওহুদের যুদ্ধে মুসলিমদের সাময়িক পরাজয় আমাদের শেখায়—নবী (সা.)-এর নির্দেশ মানা কতটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। আর খন্দকের যুদ্ধে নবীজি কৌশল, ঐক্য এবং আত্মনির্ভরতার এক অসাধারণ দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপন করেন। যুদ্ধ পরিচালনায় কেবল সাহস নয়, কৌশলও যে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, তা এখানে স্পষ্ট হয়।

ইসলামে যুদ্ধের ক্ষেত্রেও কঠোর নৈতিকতা রয়েছে। কিছু মূলনীতি হলো:

শিশু, নারী, বৃদ্ধ এবং নিরস্ত্র মানুষকে হত্যা করা নিষিদ্ধ।

গাছপালা ধ্বংস, পানির উৎস নষ্ট করা বা উপাসনালয় ভাঙচুর করা হারাম।

যুদ্ধ কেবলমাত্র আত্মরক্ষা, নির্যাতন রোধ বা শান্তি প্রতিষ্ঠার জন্যই বৈধ।
