Former England captain Morgan scored 6957 runs in 225 ODIs with the white ball. He had 13 centuries and 42 half-centuries. Root surpassed that run today.
Ian Bell is third on this list. He has
scored 5416 runs. Root made his ODI debut against India in 2013. He scored his first century the following year. He has scored consistently since then. He has played in all three World Cups since his debut.
